Cuthbert St

St Cuthbert ( d 687 ). He became the bishop of Lindisfarne between 676 - 684. He was originally a shepherd before entering the Celtic church. He was a hermit and returned to the Farne Islands in 686 to resume his solitude. His remains were moved to Durham in 1104.
