Edmund I
King of England ( b 921 - 946 ) (r 939 - 946 ). Became king after the death of his step brother Athelstan. He recaptured Danelaw and Strathclyde and like Edgar was responsible for the monastic revival. He was again closely in touch with St Dunstan.
