Pre-Reformation

The date that the Christian church first established itself in Britain. The Celtic church had always been in existance since 4th century, probably before that. The departure of the Romans allowed a level of resurgence, only to squashed again during the early Anglo Saxon invasions. There is a section devoted to the faith.
